Situation:
Wabtec's goal was to make their HR services accessible to employees and easily managed through one centralized location. They wanted to develop an interactive medium for frequent communications with Wabtec employees regarding information about pay and benefit programs.

Solution:
LiveWire developed an intranet system that is a one-stop shop for policies, compensation information and benefits transactions. Wabtec employees now have everything they need at their fingertips—making employees their own champions of HR information. The intranet makes it easy for employees to find the information they need through features such as a secure login, interactive e-mail, forms access, links to benefit providers, a searchable employee handbook and job postings. Wabtec itself has the ability to link and post information that is disseminated to all employees in a matter of seconds—freeing up much needed internal HR resources. As an added bonus, the site gives employees both awareness and an appreciation for the company's level of contribution to their benefit programs.
